Gun Safety
|
Gun safety is not a one time activity. You don't
take one gun safety class and become an expert. Gun safety is an
ongoing activity that must be practiced every day. |
|
Laws concerning
firearm ownership, storage and handling vary among states and local
jurisdictions. Learn and comply with your state and local laws and those of
any jurisdiction to which you plan to transport or use firearms. |
|
If you own
firearms you are responsible for the safe handling of those arms. |
|
If you have
children you are responsible for safeguarding them and teaching them gun
safety. |
|
Each participant
in a public situation with guns, such as target shooting or hunting, is
responsible for gun safety. This means for yourself and others. If you
see an unsafe practice point it out and correct it immediately. |
|
